I have been doing genealogy research for about 15 years, mostly in the Frederick County, Maryland area, but also branch out into Loudoun County, Va, as well. My main interests are in the Michael Family of Frederick County, and the Virts Family of Loudoun Co./Frederick Co. In doing this research I have encountered many old family names of both areas, and have volumes of information.
