Bio
We met on the internet late 2004. We are both Leos and have a lot of things in common.
We both enjoy history, learning more about Native Americans and their old ways, nature and genealogy. We attend re-enactments and powwows when we can. On September 6, 2009, we became members of the Taylorville Black Horse Pow Wow committee.
!! We recommend to ANYONE interested in history and/or Native Americans, that if you have never attended a pow wow, do so.. you will be amazed at how you feel after doing so. We would like for today's children and grandchildren to grow and learn from the Native Americans. Their ways should not be forgotten. !!
Between the two of us we have six children and *eleven!* grandchildren.
*Tresa's newest granddaughter arrived March 6, 2012.*
Doug is originally from Georgia, moved to Kentucky for seven years, then to Illinois four years ago. His family remained in Kentucky.
Tresa was born and raised in Illinois, spending most of her life in Effingham County. Her family has grown and remains in the same area.
