I am married and have a son, age 30, and a daughter, age 17, a Sr. in HS. My husband, David, works for Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR and will retire next year. We plan to travel more in our RV. I live in Academy, TX near Temple, TX in Bell Co. TX. I grew up in Salado in the country in a family of 7 children. There were 9 children in my Dad's family (Jackson). I am a 4th generation Texan. There were 4 in my Mother's family (Brooks). Both families have yearly reunions which I try to attend each year. There are many of my relatives in Bell County. I love to quilt, read and I am learning more about geneology. We live on a farm with goats, donkeys and my mare, Gypsy.
