I was born and raised in a close family where I knew most of my aunts & uncle as well as great aunts & uncles and cousins. We lived in Ahoskie, NC, but both mom and dad grew up in Bertie County, NC.

I now live in Mayodan, NC, and Cary, NC. I really started getting involved in searching my family tree in 2000 and am very lucky to have an aunt that started working on her families' trees in the 1970's.
