Although I was "introduced" to my love for all things genealogy by my Grandfather Dale James, and would so love to devote more time to my ancestral past, at this time I'm able to only indulge in "spurts."
My one (of 3) brothers shares my interest, so has gone through the "FERGUSON DNA Project," finding that our Ferguson bloodline goes back to Norse origins. --Unfortunately, we've been unable to find another of the sons of Moses Hiram Ferguson (1762-1840) whose lineage continued through the generations consisting of Ferguson males until the present, besides our line:

Daughter of Dale Eugene & Living Ferguson;
Granddaughter of Dale James & Georgianne (Hostetter) Ferguson;
g-Granddaughter of Albert Commadore & Nellie (Dailey) Ferguson;
gg-Granddaughter of Gidion Blackburn & Frances (Hankins) Ferguson;
ggg-Graddaughter of William & Margt.(Henry) Ferguson
gggg-Granddaughter of Moses Hiram (Rev.War) & Elizabeth (Cox) Ferguson
