I am currently very involved with genealogy and find headstones and information from monuments to be very important in finding ancestors, I have three ancestor on the Finn's point monument (B. F. Tapp, Joseph and Patricia Morrow Bast) and will be adding photos and I am adding the records as captions to the ones I am adding the photos only, and Bio's on the ones I have added from the Confederate monument and the Civil War Solders and saliors National park http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.cfm to help other find their ancestors. There are over 2436 Confederate prisoners buried under this monument and I do not know how many Union soldiers and how many from current wars that I have taken photos of, My parents are buried in this cemetery so if you would like a closer photo of your ancester please let me know. Also as time goes on I will be taking more photos and posting them.
