I have been working on and off on my family tree and history for about 10 years. Recently, I have become more dedicated to the project and found this website. My Irish, and maybe German, ancestors (Hush and McCabe) come from the Baltimore, MD area. The Spanish (Perez Leal and Garcia Valladares) sides come from the Canary Islands and Spain via Cuba. I have yet to cross the ocean with the Irish or the Spanish lineage.
I'm also helping a friend with her geneological research. Her roots are Irish also (Gardner and Ronk) and her family settled in the Orange and Sullivan counties of NY.
