Bio

I'm the 8th of 10 children, have 42 nieces & nephews, 90+ Great N&N's with 11 GG's. My Grandparents' mostly are from Adams, New Market & Lakeville, MN., Lincoln, Nebraska & Hoven, SD. We are: Gerber,Schaefer, Suepert/Sueper, Grone, Dirks/Dircks, Roehl, Yost, Stork/Storck, Lenhartz/Lenertz, Klasen/Clasen of Uersfeld/Luxembourg/Keilberg Germany, MN, WI, Oklahoma & Texas. I love cemeteries & taking photos of headstones. I have books of Holy Family Cemetery in Nazareth, Tx., Gene Noterman's Gerber/Smith family historyof, St. Nicholas Church & Cemetery in New Market, MN. & John McDermott's Sauber-Stork family history book. We also have Roehl-Backes relatives from Oklahoma, Roehl-Karp relatives from Bird Island, MN. & Roehl-Knott family from WI. In May 2013, I found Roehl-Knott family in Pampa, Tx by doing a random search on Facebook!
I have no problem transferring any Memorial to anyone who is a relative or close friend of someone I've made one for, unless they are a closer relative to me. If I've added photos to them, you are welcome to use them, copy them, share them with loved ones. If using, please show the FaG memorial number and acknowledge photo credit: Photo permission by Find A Grave Volunteer Sharon Gerber #47191088, but 1st click on photo to see if I shared someone's photo,(with permission) as I will mention it there. I've been into family history for over 45 yrs., & Find a Grave is all about connecting families together, to me! In fact, I would like to see everyone try to see how many Memorials they can transfer to families/good friends, instead of how many they can make & keep! I have to say, I don't agree that when a person dies, they lose rights to their info. It's still very important to many. This is an awesome place, & fantastic way to keep people connected, & I truly never intend to be upset with a single volunteer, & will do my best to keep all channels open for what is wanted. If anyone has a question for me regarding a Memorial I've made or am maintaining, please write to me at my email, [email protected]
