Fallen Graver

Sadly, wefoundyou has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

wefoundyou is the name we use to add information to Find A Grave because getting the cemetery information has been a combined effort. Margaret Hedrick Drier deserves credit for getting the project started. There are seven members of the Hedrick family buried in the Irish Hollow Cemetery and Margaret still maintains their grave sites.

A few years ago when Margaret's son discovered a little bit of information on line about the Irish Hollow Cemetery he made the comment that his mother knew lots more than that about the Irish Hollow. And he's right. She was 91 when she along with her daughter Pat Drier Trepanier decided to document what was left in the overgrown Hollow. My name is Anna Roberts Valley, my sister Dwyn Roberts Garwood and I joined them. Pat drew a map indicating where the graves were located and noted what was engraved on the tombstones. Dwyn took pictures of the stones and I transferred them to my hard drive, and the information into a database. At the time we were doing it for fun and to just maybe preserve what information is still there. Joanne Olson was also documenting Irish Hollow information and we combined our efforts.

This past summer I was introduced to the Find A Grave website and was pleased to have a place to share the fruits of our labor. I've added the information we garnered at the Irish Hollow Cemetery to the Find a Grave website. If you find any errors or have more information e mail me so I can make corrections. [email protected]

When we finished with the Irish Hollow Cemetery we decided to tackle the Woodlawn Cemetery. I've begun adding the Woodlawn information to Find A Grave. It may take me awhile to get it all done. Again if you find discrepancies or have more information than I have please let me know so we can compare notes and set things straight.
