THIS CEMETERY (Bloomfield Burial Grounds) WAS NEGLECTED FOR 50+ YEARS. I started working on it over 6 years ago. This summer for the first time in over 50 years it was mowed with a lawn mower. I AM ALSO RESTORING THE TOMB STONES ONE AT A TIME. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF OTHERS DID NOT POST PICTURES WHILE THIS IS ON GOING. THANK YOU. This cemetary adjoins my property. Now other people know its there and thanks to my friend and helper DENNY, there is more to come.
I Am 76 years young and I look at this as a rehab project FOR ME. I Am A retired (SORT OF) photographer and actually photographed a wedding in this cemetery on a HALLOWEEN MIDNIGHT several years ago. And yes they are still happily married.
