I'm actively researching both mine, and my wife's genealogy. I've been researching for many years but, only recently joined find-a-grave. I'm especially interested in: Whitman, Ryce, Colley, Cox, Hupp, Branch, Hamlin, Gattie, and Harris families in NC, MD, GA, FL, VA, and AL, with emphasis (primarily) on the U.S. history from the mid-1600's thru to the current day.

Professionally, I've been in the automotive service/repair business all of my adult life. My other hobbies include U.S. military history (emphasis on the US Civil War era), music (I play several instruments and listen incessantly), baseball (die-hard Oriole fan), and old muscle cars from the 60's-70's era. I'm originally from Maryland but, I've also lived in Texas and Georgia. I currently reside in Winter Haven, FL with my wife, who's a native Floridian. Originally, I'm from Maryland, known for it's CRAB, and my wife's a (native) Florida CRACKER, therefore together, we're the CRAB-N-CRACKER! We've raised a family of four and currently have three grand-children.

I'm not an active photo volunteer but, I occasionally visit local cemeteries, around the Winter Haven area, and take grave site photo's to add to the Find-A-Grave data base. If you've located an immediate relative that I've added, please contact me for transfer. Or, if you have additional edit information for non-direct relatives, please feel free to contact me. I check the site on a (near) daily basis. If I've added a memorial, at the expense of missing a husband, wife, brother, sister, etc., close by, or in the same cemetery, I'll gladly try to correct exclusions and make a special trip to the cemetery. It's my desire to keep all family members together. I promise to respect and treat your family, as if it were my own!
