I am one of many of Gladys Sara Huffman Afflerbach's grandchildren. She was affectionately known to anyone who knew her as "Granny". There are alot of things I admired about my Granny, but the thing I admired most about her was her ability to make each one of us grandchildren think we were her favorite. I really thought until recently that I truly was her favorite, until I realized that each of us truly was her favorite in our own special way. She referred to me as "Little Granny" and I know everyone of my siblings and cousins have their own special memory of what made them her "favorite".
