I am a descendant of Fidelius & Cecilia (Gulde) Fischer. Cecilia came to Georgetown with her children in 1881 and settled there. Also my grandfather Aloysius P. Kukowski purchased a farm at Georgetown in 1923. The families joined when my parents, William and Marjorie (Fischer) Kukowski, were married in 1950. My husband's family also were early settlers in Georgetown. His grandfather, Joseph Kolosky, purchased a farm in 1904 along the Red River. Larry and I both have many roots in this area. We have been researching our family trees for over 25 years. We have collected many photos and lots of information that we would be willing to share.
