The Stoddartsville Cemetery was formerly known as the Stoddart and Stull Private Cemetery. It is located at the intersection of Rt. 115 and Buck Maple Lane in Stoddartsville, Buck Twp., Luzerne Co., PA. The first burial here was in 1816; the same year John Stoddart, a Philadelphia merchant and investor in the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company, founded the village. Ongoing restoration and maintenance of this 1-acre hillside cemetery are being performed by the Stoddartsville Preservation Society, which acquired title to the cemetery and the adjoining Historic Center in 2011.
