Bio

My college degree from the University of Texas @ Dallas, was in Geosciences and I have worked as a Geologist from 1978 to 2013.

Before I retired I began researching my family. I have been working on this for 37 years and there is no end to the research. The greatest research time was spent in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, USA where I was born. My husband and I sold our home and went to PA in 2006. We were only to stay one year, but it turned into two and I was so happy because I was able to re-connect with cousins and other family members who were more than willing to share their family information that I did not have. It wasn't until 2008 that we came back to Oklahoma City, OK, USA and I continue to work as a Family History Consultant for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a indexer director . I am also active in the DAR and have found many ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War.

My associations are : Utah Genealogy Association; Monroe County Historical Society in PA; Oklahoma Genealogy Society; Oklahoma History Center; and the New England Genealogical Society.

Genealogy is just as exciting, or maybe more, than Geology. After all, I wouldn't be here without my ancestors!
