Bio

I was born in Biloxi and am a descendant of Peter Anglada, Sr. through his son James. My grandfather was Peter Francis Anglado, son of James and Isabella Garlotte Bosarge. Isabella was the daughter of Benjamin Garlotte and Josephine Basque. I became interested in genealogy several years ago and have been "obsessed" ever since. I am extremely grateful to Jeanette Nicovich, who gave me original old photos of Peter Anglada and Rosa. Before I could return them "Katrina" happened. Thank goodness I had them as they may have been lost forever in that storm. I was in the process of returning them when I received notice that she had passed away. I regret that I was unable to return them but I know that she would be pleased that they were saved and that many others for generations to come will be able to enjoy them. She expressed much affection for her grandmother Rosa. She had an original oil painting of Rosa in her later years which was precious to her. She let me photograph it. I have posted that photograph on this site.
