Bio

Born in Kerrville, TX. Grew up in Harper, TX, & lived most of my adult life in Austin. Now retired and returned to the hill country near Harper. All my ancestors came from Germany & settled in Gillespie County, Texas. Most 1845-1855. Great grandfather Schumpelt was a late comer, 1879.
Have been posting research of family history on Myfamily.com since 2000, and updating information, & adding it, as it comes available. Now via ancestry.com.
I don't manage a lot of memorials, but do offer lots of suggestions. If you do not wish to accept edits I suggest, please share your source with me so I may correct my records if they are wrong. But DO NOT delete a memorial just because you don't want to deal with it. (Yes, that happened!) This is about the deceased and their loved ones. This is not about US. I will add photos where I can, usually in the course of updating my ancestry family trees, as I monitor lots of obituaries for information.
