I am now retired and study my family roots. My grandfather came over from Austria in the late 1800's my father was the first born in this country.
My mother's family go way back. Her gggrandfather was one of the first Swiss/German settlers in the Ohio Valley. He and his wife came over from Bern Switzerland but I think they were German not Swiss.
