I've always enjoyed exploring cemeteries -- especially ones with interesting histories. As I became involved in genealogical research, I began to recognize the value of having a known gravesite, particularly one that has been photographed. I became a Find A Grave volunteer because the activity has several of my interests converging: cemeteries, photography, genealogy, being outdoors, and helping others.
