Born and raised in Decatur, AL., Married 34 years until death of wife in 2003 in East Central Florida where we lived for 22 years. One daughter, one son, one grandson and one granddaughter. Currently married and living again in Decatur, AL with expanded family of a step-daughter and step son with a total of 6 grandchildren and two Great Grandsons. Joined the Air Force in 1972, returned to Decatur in 1981 to begin working on the Solid Rocket Boosters used for the Space Shuttle Transportation System. Watched a lot of Shuttle launches from my house in Titusville, FL. Moved back to Decatur in 2007 and began work on the Solid Rocket Booster to be used with NASA's Constellation Program. Was laid off in June 2010 when the program was cancelled and started a new project in my life and that was to find my ancestors.
