I love history and just like my parents, read obituaries and visit loved ones(living & deceased)whenever I am in town visiting from Puget Sound - which is often these days due to health issues with my folks. I have built on our family custom of Sunday visits to the cemetery by researching our history, taking graveside photos and conducting video interviews with relatives in distant lands. I draft notes and sketch maps in my journal and have even solved some mysteries from 'talking story'. These golden nuggets from time hold special meaning to me as I sift through poignant memories and celebrate the life of present and past family and friends. I appreciate and truly value the photos posted by 'Shiver' who made it possible for me to visit Mr. Beckett's grave site, today. I will visit this site again, soon with my Dad & Mom, in the privacy of their home as Dad is no longer able to walk, but boy is he able to smile and make me laugh.
