Bio

My late grandfather, Vernon Neal Wells, got me interested in genealogy. I use FindAGrave to track down ancestors whose birth and death certificates have either been destroyed or difficult to track down.

I am currently focusing my research on Gustav Slater (m. Wilhelmina Pflaum circa 1870s in Germany/Prussia) and my French/Italian/Spanish ancestors: Aonzo, Buscaja, Donadieu, Montédonico, and Spagnol.

I have extensively researched the surnames below, so please feel free to contact me if you wish to collaborate!
- Buchtel (USA: OH)
- Crow/Gro (USA: PA)
- DeLong/Delang/DeLanghe (USA: PA)
- Myer/Meyer (USA: MD and WV)
- Perdigon (France/Italy)
- Perni (France/Italy)
- Reid (Scotland)
- Slater (Germany)
- Tait (Scotland/Ireland)
- Wells (USA: IA, MD, OH, and WV)
