I was born near the Perry Store community in Coffee Co, AL and grew up in Opp, AL. I retired from the US Army and now live in Millbrook, AL and work part-time with a local pest control company. I graduated from Opp High School, Enterprise State Junior College and the University of Alabama with a degree in U.S. history. Family genealogy and cemeteries intrigue me, and I have researched these families for the last 15 years: Hattaway, Carter, Harrison, Preachers, Donaldson, Wise, Davis, Weatherford, Farris, Martin and Creech.
