Born August 6, 1953 as Barbara Kaye Fuchs to Betty Jane Fuchs (nee: Bradley) & Raymond Milton Fuchs @ Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. I have one older brother: Frank Raymond Fuchs, born January 4, 1951.

Married June 12, 1971 to Alan Craig Metzler, born October 13, 1952 - still happily married as of November 14, 2010 - actual date of this entry. Two living children: Kristofer Alan Metzler, born June 17, 1975 & MacAlan Oliver Metzler, born September 13, 1976.

(Unfortunately, three of our older children have gone home to be with Jesus: Zebediah Ezekiel Metzler, Still-born June 22, 1972; Jennifer Rachel Metzler, Lost in an automobile accident prior to birth on August 6, 1973; Ethan Alan Metzler, Still-born June 21, 1974. It is our hope to be reunited with them when we, too, go home to be with Jesus!)

Kristofer has three biological children: Kevin Michael Metzler, born May 12, 1994; David Metzler, born April 1, 1996; Emma Rose Metzler, born December 22, 2008. Kris also has four step-children: Ashley, born 3-11-1992; Kaelyn, born 4-24-1997; Dylan, born 3-28-2000; Brynnen, born 11-23-2002.

At this time, MacAlan has no known children. However, as parents - we are always hopeful that one day he will settle down and be blessed with a family!

We want our entire family to believe & personally accept John 3:16: "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believed in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - The Living Bible. We believe that when you ask Jesus into your heart that you will have eternity with other family that made the same choice & this is very important since scientists have already proven that we all come from Adam & Eve. Therefore, we are ALL Family! I look forward to seeing you on the other side!!!
