I grew up in Potterville, Michigan, and still think of it as home. In fact, my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother were all raised there. So many good memories come fludding back to me. It's funny how a cemetary can even bring back fond memories. Benton Township Cemetary was a place that my grandfather and I would spend one-on-one time with each other. I would drive him there (down the back roads, because I was only 13)and we would water the grass where my grandmother and uncle rested. Grandpa has long sense joined them, but I can still hear him say, "Let's go for a ride." The cemetary was never a scary place for me.
