Bio

I am the daughter of Darell Dewain Baker, grand-daughter of Floyd and Melissa Stufflebean-Baker. Darell also has a daughter whose first name is Brenda, but I have never known what her last name is. She would be approximately ten years older than me, and I was born Jan. 29, 1966. Brenda's mother's name was Betty Turner, from around the Turner's Mill area in southern Missouri. The story I was told by my mother (Annetta McNeal) is that Darell tried to see Betty and Brenda, but Betty's parents would not allow it. I have always wanted to meet Brenda, but am not sure as to whether she is aware of my presence or if she knows about Darell, and it is not my wish to disrupt her life, but I do believe she deserves to know the truth about her beginning in life. Also, I am in search of any photos of my Baker side of my family. I only have two or three photos of my father in his younger years and they are from when he was in the navy. I have no idea what he looked like as a child or infant.I have no photos of my grandparents, Floyd and Melissa. I have a strong desire to know more about my family, as I was not given much of a chance to do so as a child, because I was moved around often. I did get to see some relatives sporadically, but not often enough. I feel as though I have missed out on so much. I currently reside in Carthage, Missouri and have recently returned to school in Joplin at MSSU. I am majoring in Sociology/Corrections. Sincere thanks in advance for any information and/or photos.
