Bio

Prepared my first ancestor chart in 1957. They just get larger and larger and larger.

I'm into gathering proofs on each ancestor. Many of the tombstones that I was seeing 30 years ago are no longer there due to weathering and vandalism.

Was able to get the Whitley County Cemeteries indexed and online. Took over 5 years and 2 dozen Volunteers for the first edition. Now have volunteers working on an update at the http://whitleycountyin.org website. It is the all the volunteers that keep Find-A-Grave and other sites worth while.

Have now been working on documentation and expanding the family records to include more children and more in-laws and trying to update the index of names every 6 months or so.

Active in many lineage societies and most recently helped organize the SR-Indiana and the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Indiana. Still helping by serving as an officer in those societies where I can help. If anyone is interested in joining lineage societies I am willing to provide whatever assistance anyone might need.

Would like to link many of the stones on Find-A-Grove to other family members but that task is proving much harder than it should be.
