Graduated from Central High in Fountain City, TN in 1957, joined the Navy in August of '57, got out in 1963 as an AT2. Joined the Space Program in 1964, earned my BSEE in 1978, retired in 1986. Moved to Chattanooga that year, still reside in that area. Most of my family still live in the Knoxville, TN area.
Been a country music fan (the old but good stuff, not the new crap)most of my life. I had the honor of meeting and becoming friends with Hank Snow when I was in my mid-teens. He was also my music mentor, and encouraged my efforts in song-writing.
