Bio

I began my family research in 1994 and have spent hours upon hours "stone kicking" to track down the small family cemeteries that have been long forgotten. I am known to make U-turns for what looks like a cemetery in a distant field. The quotes found on those markers have always intrigued me. You can learn quite a bit from an old grave! My favorite is "When in this world vain man appears, Tis unknown when or where he'll die - Or in what time he'll spend his years, Or where his dust must lie. Remember living men as you pass by, You must and will shortly die. As I am now, you must shortly be. Prepare for death and follow me." I will slowly begin adding the cemetery inventories that I've taken over the years. I love genealogy and it has become my lifelong hobby.
