I have always loved history and watching my aunt search for answers about what happened to Uncle Eugene in Bataan, Philippines in World War II was a natural progression to finding my ancestors' histories. She didn't get the answers she was looking for before she passed and although we know more, there are still so many unanswered questions. She knows all those answers now and has probably had some long conversations with her beloved uncle.

Linking families in find a grave is like restoring lost family members and connecting them to each other in perpetuity. As I think of people that I have known, I try to link them to their spouses, parents, and siblings. I feel that I am telling them that you have made an impact on my life and I haven't forgotten you!
