I started my genealogy research for about 12 years ago when I found out I was having my daughter. I can get lost for hours in libraries and cemeteries. Most of my research focuses on Vigo, Sullivan and Knox counties in Indiana. The surnames I am researching are Lloyd, McMillin, Stewart, Hixon, Hitt and Helderman. I am also working on my husbands family history surnames, Dishno, Price, and Kruzan. I have an extensive collection of Lloyd information. I am starting the daunting task of sorting through all of the stacks of research that I have collected. I will be sending off most of my research to the Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute, IN for the Lloyd and McMillin families, and to the McGrady-Brockman House in Vincennes, IN for the Hixon, Hitt and Helderman families. I just dont have the room to keep all of the stuff so I want it to be in a place where anyone can look and hopeful find it useful.
