Bio

What a wonderful life I've led thus far! I was born in Chicago, but because my father was an Air Force officer, we moved around a lot, including tours in Japan and Italy. I attended college at the U of MD in Munich, Germany, for 2 years and then graduated at the U of MD in the states in 1965. Shortly after that, I married an Army officer and was on the move again. I loved every minute of it and feel very lucky. Germany was a wonderful place to live for 6 years. My interests center around our 3 children and 7 grandchildren ... with lots of Bridge playing in the mix. And now I'm fixated on Genealogy.

Am interested in: Whipple, Mathewson, Millard, Angell, Barnes, Buck, Ballou, and Mosher on my mother's paternal side. On my mother's maternal side: Phelps, Billig, Clendening (sp) so far.

My father's Swedish heritage is going to be harder to pin down/research. His mother's maiden name was Johnson. :-}
