Project leader for the restoration of Frederick Garst Cemetery in Salem, VA which was completed in June of 2000.

Project leader for the National Garst Family Reunion in July of 2000.

Worked with Floyd and Kathryn Mason of Bridgewater, VA with updated genealogy so they could publish 'Our Garst Family in America' 2004 Revised Edition. This edition is based on the original work of Earl and May Frost c.1940 Garst, Graybill, Shirfey and Peffley family Supplement, c.1950 Our Garst Family in America, W.T. Garst, and research provided by Joe Garst of Wheaton, IL. Additional family records compiled include records from many families who attended the 2000 reunion and cooresponded with me during that time.
