So grateful to my family for such a rich history. I am a Blackwell, Tyler, Collier, Lyle, Grant, Lee and more just on my mom's father's side of the Blackwells. Going back to Joseph Blackwell of 1536 and his journey as a surveyor to King Charles I. This has made me want to cross the pond for more family history. While exploring the Thompsons and Caprons on my maternal grandmother's side, I have discovered my 3rd great grandfather Silas Burt Thompson was a bodyguard to Lincoln during the Civil War. Needless to say, I'm addicted to ancestry. I am a photo bug so if you need a picture from my location, please email. If anyone has any information on a Thomas Bascom Moss born about 1858 and married Margaret C Harris please reach out to me, thank you in advance!
