Bio

I've been extensively involved in genealogy research since 2000. My involvement began with my own pateral, maternal family trees, as well as Danish genealogy .

By 2002, I began teaching classes at the Los Angeles Regional Family History Library (LAFHL), 2nd largest LAFHL in U.S.

Genealogy subject classes I taught at LAFHL include:
-Danish Genealogy
-Austro-Hungarian Empire genealogy , which includes: Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary. This course included both parish as well as civil registration records.
-Passenger Manifest
-Naturalization Records

I've acted as a consultant at the LAFHL for Jewish Genealogy as well.

In addition to teaching, I've assisted hundreds of patrons in the hours that I've volunteered at the LAFHL.

My Klempa genealogy family tree includes the states of Ohio and New York . The New York state areas include Gloversville, Johnstown, and Schenectady. My paternal ancestors immigrated from Slovakia. My maternal family tree genealogy includes the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Arizona, Florida, Texas, and Colorado. My maternal ancestors immigranted from Poland, specifically (2) two small villages in the Tatras mountains of southern Poland.
