Hello,I have been interested in my family history for over 10 yrs now. I have researched and found stories and land contracts and more. I have traced my family tree and found a land deal for 400 acres in Ky.(Near Buffalo road leading from riddles station.) Between a Samuel Van Hook jr. on my mothers side ,he had a land deal with a Jacob Meyers on my dads side in 1780. Very interesting to see that their paths have crossed even soo many yrs ago. I enjoy the stories and the facts which are so vital to knowing how my family grew and changed over the many yrs. The hardships as well as the triumphs. Riddles station being a most devastating time in our Loveless family history. They were marched 400 miles in the winter by the Indians and the french... from Ky to Michigan in the winter. Another family member stated that they moved from OH. to Indiana and had moved in the wilderness in 30 inches of snow. Mind you back in those days they had no reason to exaggerate. I enjoy researching and if I can help any of you, Please let me know I will see what I can do.
