Fallen Graver

Sadly, DAnderson has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. My mother started this family research back in 1994 by compiling the family records she had in her possession. She contacted other family members to add current generations but never really searched back any further than the generations for which we had records. Just this past month I decided to continue her project since there was another generations to add. I was given a gift subscription to Ancestry.com and that led me to FindAGrave.

I am also working on creating memorials for the Missing In America Project of Arizona. These veterans' cremains have been sitting on the shelves of funeral homes, without family to claim them, some for years. MIAP searches for these veterans and works with funeral homes and cemetery associations to provide the veterans with a proper military burial. Once I enter an MIAP hero, I have to wait a few days for the VA to update their records and set the grave marker before I can add the rest of the information. Please allow me a couple of weeks to before you send in edits. Rest assured I stay on top of it for our heroes. If you are a family member of one of our heroes, please contact me with information regarding your relationship to the hero and I will transfer the memorial to you for management.

If you find a photo taken by me (DAnderson) on FindAGrave please feel free to use it as you wish in your research on your family. If the picture on any of the memorials I manage wasn't taken by me, please contact the photographer to ask permission before you copy it to your family tree on other websites. While I may manage the memorial I may not have taken the photo and those rights belong to the photographer.
