In September 1964 I was present at the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of Pilot Knob, Missouri in Arcadia. My grandmother narrated her mother and family hid out in local cave along with other families as battle raged. This began my curious journey searching the family genealogy. I am grateful to the many connections and newly found cousins that have contributed to and given new meaning to understand where I came from.
