I am working on Find A Grave to make loving memorials for my family members, and to link them together. I have fond memories of my family, and miss them very much. I don't want them to be forgotten.

Please don't use my "family photos" without crediting me. I keep finding them on other sites, with other people's names on them! My wife and I are working on my family tree on Ancestry.com. I have already uploaded my family photos there. If you have a tree there, simply "attach" them to your tree. That way, you don't break my connection and communication to related families by uploading them as your own.

You have my permission to use the photos that I have taken of headstones for your genealogy work. All that I ask is that you credit me for my photos where you use them.

I will transfer any memorials that I have created that are not related to me - even if they are your aunts, uncles, and cousins! Just use the "edit" tab on the person that you wish to be transferred, then click "suggest a correction". Be sure to add your Find A Grave number to your transfer request.

I think that it is disgraceful for people to make thousands of memorials for other people's relatives (that they have no relationship to), then refuse to transfer them to their family, just because they are not in "direct line".
