Bio

Born, raised, and educated in the Bay Area, Charles (Charlie) Moore followed in the footsteps of both his grandfather, Walter E. McGuire, and his mother, Florian McGuire Moore.

Shortly after receiving a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from St. Mary's College, he began his now 35-plus year career in real estate. He re-opened McGuire Real Estate in 1980, and grew the company from a 2-person office with $1M in sales to the current $1.3B operation with seven offices around the Bay Area.

Throughout his journey he has served on many different boards, contributed to civic interests, and supported the surrounding communities in many different ways. Notably he was the San Francisco Board of Realtor's Realtor of the Year in 1988, he served as President of the San Francisco Association of Realtors in 1998, on the Executive Committee as Vice President of the Coalition for Better Housing in 1993, past Director of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce (1991-94), and community interests such "Save Our School Sports" Program with fundraising, organizing, and motivating young people. He is a past President of Habitat for Humanity—San Francisco and Marin. Charles has been a featured speaker at Inman Connect NYC, has a curiosity for the WWII era, and is a former competitive cyclist.

His role as a high-level, creative visionary with leadership responsibilities will lead the McGuire companies into the future
