Bio

I have been involved in family research since 1967 and enjoy it very much.
There is a lot of work involved in adding Memorials to Find A Grave. I now can really appreciate all the effort of others in adding many of my family members.

I was born in the Guideway of Columbus County, NC to Rev. Clifford Clubb and wife Vergie Cox.

I will be happy to transfer a memorial to a family member closer in relationship than I am. First, you need to join Find A Grave, but that is free and quite simple to do. Then contact me, using the edit tab in the upper right of a particular memorial; and then under "suggest a correction" ask for the transfer of the memorial and please include how you are related. (You may add photos and scanned birth/marriage/death certificates without being manager.)

I am related to all the Coxes in the Old Zion Cemetery in Columbus Co., NC, but I do not know some of the family relationships of others buried there, so I need to hear that from you or transfer management to you, as a close relative.
Once I transfer to you, then as manager you can make corrections (dates, spelling of name, etc.) and also link your family members together.

Family names I am researching in North Carolina and SC, include Clubb, Cox, Gore, Best, James, McLean, and Thomas.

I am a retired Presbytrian minister of 45 years, and have many friends and relatives scattered throughout the U.S. My wife and I love to travel and visit them, so please be patient if I do not respond immediately.

You may contact me at [email protected]
