Raised in Milford, Michigan with my sister Ann. Father was Elmer Ludwig Spietz. Mother was Kate (Cussia)Spietz. Graduated from Milford High School in 1966. Received my BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Tech. in 1970. Served 3 years in the Army as a Medivac Pilot which included Vietnam. Worked 37 years as a Welding Engineer for the Trane Company in La Crosse, Wis. Married for 44 years to my wife Linda Bice Spietz. We have 2 beautiful daughters, 2 great son-in-laws and 5 wonderful grandchildren. I got interested in Genealogy when I retired.
