Born December 1957, Helene Fuld Hospital, Trenton, New Jersey

Attended Klockner School (K-6), Nottingham Jr. High School (Grades 7-9) and Steinert High School(Joseph Steinert Memorial, a/k/a Hamilton High School-East), graduating in 1976. National Merit Scholar.

1980 B.S. degree from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Enrolled in graduate program at CSU-Fresno 1980-1982; no degree.

Employed at Cornell U Office of Sports Information 1976-1979; New York Hospital (now Cornell Weill Medical Center) 1979-1980; CSU Fresno (grad assistant) 1980-1982; White Mountain Ranger District/US Forest Service 1981-1983 (seasonal); Mono County Health Department 1983-1984; Fresno County Health Department 1984-1987; City of Fresno Planning 1987-present; US Census Bureau (1998 and 2000, seasonal); Fresno County Public Library 1999 - present (part-time).

Incorporated Foothill Senior Citizens Commission and completed incorporation of Golden State Paint Horse Club. Did research required for Sthe original Squaw Valley, located in the Sierra foothills of Fresno County, to obtain its first Zip Code (1988).

Kept a few horses, two dogs, and a cat on a ranchette in The Original Squaw Valley, southeastern Fresno County.
