My Dodds lineage only goes back to my 3rd great grandfather ,James Dodds, born in Elbert,GA. in 1787 and died in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett, GA in 1870. His wife ,Sarah Thomason,born in Elbert,GA in 1780 and died in Elbert,GA. in 1819.
The majority of my research is on my grandmother's lineage, Lenna Belle Clayton and her mother Susie Elizabeth Pearson ,1868-1944. Susie's mother was , Malintha Bailey Jones ,1842-1928. Malintha is from 2 different Jones Families,Capt. Adam Crain Jones ,1722-1815, and Thomas A Jones Jr. 1764-1846.
