I try to get the best pictures I can, sometimes also taking close ups and from different angles to get the best legible image. I have seen far too many photographs that are illegible due to the way the photograph was taken.

I do not, under any circumstances, move any flowers etc in order to read the inscription. I will however, try to return to that grave at another time and photograph it again.

I prefer to personally transcribe every photograph that I upload and do not leave it for others to do. By doing it myself, I am confident that I have included everyone shown and added accurate information from the headstone. I always review suggested edits and I am happy to transfer management if requested.

If you are interested in Glossop Cemetery, some of the graves have others interred in them but no memorial is on the stone. Please feel free to contact me and I can check to see if anyone else is buried in that grave.
