I learned of going to cemeteries from my Mom. We would always go to where my Grandfather and Aunt were buried and clean the grave marker plus place flowers. We would walk and visit other markers that my mother knew.
My sister and I have started doing this more in the last year since Mom passed away. My parents, grandparents, aunt and sister are buried in the same cemetery different sections. We would walk around and visit all the markers of names we know in the cemetery, so it only seemed right that when I joined Find A Grave to volunteer to be a photographer. My sister doesn't have a computer but when I told her what I was going to do she asked me if she could help me. I said sure the more the merrier. She has been a big help.
