I'm a Cabinet Maker by trade and a guitarist and singer on the side. When I'm not building cabinets or playing music I'm studying genealogy, family history and working on the family tree. I first became interested in family history when I discovered I was a direct descendant of some of the first settlers in the Washington state Tieton Basin and Yakima Valley. It's amazing how little most people know about their own family. If history is not shared and passed on to the next generation eventually it's lost and forgotten and I think that's a real shame.
Currently researching Torbert, Fox and Procell family lines in Texas and Louisiana. Also researching Russell, Wikstrom and Matchett in Illinois, Kansas and the pacific northwest.
