Bio

While it may be obvious, my name is Diana. I live in the Chicagoland area. I have a great passion for genealogy that originated from an assignment for one of my classes in college. Through my research I discovered this site and found it to be an incredibly helpful tool. The lack of memorials for my family is what led me to join Find A Grave. Since, my main priority has been creating memorials for my family.

I have experienced more death in my life than most people my age. As a result, I have a greater appreciation for life and living it to its fullest. I have also grown quite a fondness for cemeteries, which was enhanced by my love of genealogy. They contain so much information and can sometimes act as a beacon on a branch of a tree that's run dry.

I seek to help others garner information about their families, just as I have been helped along the way. Essentially as a means of paying it forward. I am willing to help in any way I can. As I am out photographing graves of my family members I often take additional photos of the surrounding graves.

Transfers: If you would like a memorial transferred to you, please feel free to ask. I am more than happy to transfer a memorial to a family member as long as they are not one of my relatives. Please request the transfer using the edit tab.

Photos: You are welcome to use any of the photos I have posted for your own personal, non-commercial, use. Photo credit would be appreciated.

Names of interest for me: Ness, Buttenbender, Peterson, Marth, Hummel, Mitchell, Nelson, Malmin, Forsberg, Bothner, Mueller, Simon, Paul, Beltz, Noe

My Daddy was the first man I ever loved and a piece of my heart will always be with him. Though I feel your life was cut far too short Dad, you will still be alive within all of our hearts! I love you and miss you every single day!

I miss you every day Gram and Papa. Thank you for helping mold me into the person I am today; your influence knows no bounds!
