Bio

I have been an amateur genealogist for over 40 years. What started me upon this path was I had no information about my paternal grand-parents. My Dads' mother died when he was 7 and his father when he was 9. He was sent to an orphanage and about 6 months later, his Grandmother obtained custody of him and his two brothers. His sister had already been adopted. He and his brothers searched over their lifetimes for their sister without results. Thanks to a cousin, Shani Runyon Dagley, she was found seventy years later. The brothers and lost sister never re-united in life.
I have amassed a great deal of information on our family and have over 72,000 entries in my tree. It is up on Ancestry.com as Runyon2021.
I research all variations of Runyon, also Monroe, Fretwell, Clatterbaugh, Fitzgerald, Varner, Blackburn and many more.
