My name is Stephanie (Wise) Barr. I am currently trying to trace my ancestors on my mother's side. My mother is Jacqueline (DeVoe) Hayes, her mother is Theresa Louise (Martin) DeVoe. Thanks to Find a Grave I was able to locate my grandmother's grave at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery in Charlotte County, Virginia and see a picture of her headstone. In addition I also found in the same cemetery who I believe to be my great-grandfather and possibly his parents. My mother tells me that my great-grandmother Stova (Newcomb) Martin was also laid to rest in this cemetery just feet from my grandmother. I have been unable to find any information so far on her or her father Ira Newcomb but I am looking forward to researching further and hope that Find a Grave will provide even more helpful information.
